This release features the best 22 songs of his career and will not be available for purchase anywhere.
Scott Carter is no novice to the music industry; he has been contributing to country music charts for over two decades. In the past six months, Carter has been inundated with phone calls, emails and all-around-general interest in what heÂ’s doing.
“There has been an unanticipated, 'feverish', renewed, overwhelming interest in me,” says Carter.
He is surprised by all the attention, but considering everything Carter has accomplished over the years, there is no doubt this attention is well deserved.
Five songs written and performed by Carter have charted in the music trades in the USA and several countries overseas, including "Love Keeps Knocking On Your Heart", "Blue Collar Dollar", "My Miss America", "Feed The Children", and "King of Columbus Avenue." All five raced up the charts and opened the door for Carter to tour and perform throughout the USA, Australia, the Philippines, and parts of Europe. Additionally, two of CarterÂ’s albums were nominated for "Album of the Year" at the Nashville MIRL and AIRA awards shows and he won "Entertainer of the Year--International" at the 1996 Academy of Independent Recording Artists Awards Show in Nashville.
On his last tour of Australia, Carter toured the country playing various venues and events supporting charitable and public service organizations. Carter performed alongside Christian artists like Barry McGuire and Jamie Owens-Collins and U.K. Pop artist Cliff Richard. Additionally, Carter gave a 'Farewell Australia' concert performance to a packed house at the legendary Perth Concert Hall.
