(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 02, 2009 ) COLUMBUS, OH – There’s something new coming out of Ohio. Music fans and industry pros are beginning to take notice of State Your Cause, the 20-something pop-rockers out of Columbus. Earlier this month, State Your Cause began releasing its first single “Blind Hope” to radio stations around the US, and the feedback from listeners, DJs and program directors has been overwhelming.
The program director at Albert Lea, MN station KCPI, a hot adult contemporary station at 94.9, says, “The song’s getting some great calls - I can’t wait to hear the next single!” This is just one of dozens of positive comments the band has been getting on “Blind Hope” from professionals in the music business. From KFMI in Eureka, California to WVIQ in the US Virgin Islands, State Your Cause is beginning to burn up the airwaves.
Ohio fans interested in seeing State Your Cause perform can catch them in Cincinnatti this weekend at Annie’s/Inner Circle. The band will be playing with “Stemm”, known for their single “Face the Pain” which is played at all UFC events nationwide.
State Your Cause has been playing shows throughout Ohio over the summer, including Newport Music Hall, The Colony Theater, McGuffyÂ’s house of rockÂ…the list goes on. This fall, SYC continues their tour heading to New YorkÂ’s well known Water Street Music Hall, and will be leaving for Chicago afterwards, kicking off that leg of the tour at Flatlanders in Lincolnshire.
