(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 20, 2012 ) The Fresh Beat Band is scheduled to perform two shows at the said venue on October 21. The first show will start at 2:00 PM, while the second will begin at 5:30 PM. The shows are part of the Fresh Beat Band Live in Concert Tour, which is produced by Nickelodeon.
Nickelodeon’s The Fresh Beat Band, formerly known as The JumpArounds, is a band featured in Nick Jr.’s TV show of the same name. The TV show is targeted toward kids and features several original pop songs performed by the fictional band. Due to the popularity of the show, the band eventually came to life and began touring live.
The members of the band, called The Fresh Beats, go by the names Shout, Twist, Marina, and Kiki, and are four best friends who attend music school together. They all share a love for singing and dancing, turning each episode of the show into a mini musical.
The show is filmed at Paramount Studios in LA, but The Fresh Beat Band has already performed live in several venues since they opened their nationwide tour. The nationwide tour was announced back in 2011 and officially began in February this year.
Before the second half of the year rolled along, they have been to countless major cities including Anaheim, San Diego, Los Angeles, Kansas, Milwaukee, Rosemont, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Boston, Baltimore, Atlanta, Nashville, and Miami, among several others.
By May, they began their Summer/Fall tour, of which their gig at the Chicago Theatre is still part. The Fall part of the tour officially began when September rolled by and debuted with a series of shows in New York compared to just one or two shows in other cities. The Fresh Beat Band announced new NYC shows along the way due to popular demand.
Other cities the band will visit after their series of NYC shows include Gilford, Uncasville, Canton, Charlottesville, Richmond, Charlotte, and Raleigh.
On October, they will visit Columbia, Augusta, Savannah, North Charleston, Asheville, Huntington, Johnstown, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, South Bend, Madison, Davenport, and Appleton. So far, they are scheduled to have one show in each venue, but they are currently slated to perform twice in Chicago and also twice in Cleveland. The two October 13 Cleveland shows are set for 1:00 PM and 5:30 PM on the same day.
So far, their Chicago Theatre gig is the last scheduled show of the band’s Summer/Fall nationwide tour. Thus, fans of the band should consider it as their last chance to catch the band live this season.
