The Detroit Doors - Metro Detroit Doors Tribute Band

Getting the right kind of back up to address the concerns of the people can be difficult. Many people like to take up the cause for humanitarian efforts concerning Metro Detroit from the safety of a neighboring county. For art entrepreneur Mike “Chizzy” Chisholm that is not good enough. This artist believes in giving a direct hand into the causes and creating real interaction with people while raising money for good causes. It is for that reason that Chizzy’s band, The Detroit Doors Tribute Band, is appearing in Bay City Michigan’s second annual City Fest.
Helping the community through direct and immediate action is the driving force behind The detroit Doors Tribute Band. Over the recent months Chizzy and Co. have been raising funds for charitable causes including the Girls and Boys Clubs, Ronald McDonald House, Animal Welfare Society and many more. While helping causes and raising revenue for much needed help in Detroit the band is also rocking the masses. The message here is straight from the legendary Doors band message itself taken from the lyrics, “Save Our City”. This rallying cry is doing more than just serving as entertainment but it is directing real social change.
This years City Fest is promising some quality entertainment including M80, Kris Pride, Ms. Charity, Melva Jane, Spork, Drift Lifted, Just Ness, Thunder Chickens and many more. The host is Silly Boy and will be hosted at Wenonah Park on September 16th, and will feature additional fun and games for the entire family. The event kicks off at 10AM and will last until 10PM. It will be hosted by Indie Spot and Labadie Auto Co. which is Bay City’s Toyota and Scion dealership. Another crowd pleaser this year will be the Alice Cooper Tribute Band.
In addition to the high level of community service delivered by the Detroit Doors Tribute Band comes a high quality pounding sound. The Detroit Doors has recruited the talents of Ozzy Sieker who is known as the “Wizard of Keyboards”. Sieker has played with top of the line bands such as The Temptations, Denny Doherty from the Mamas and Papas, and Heart. The keyboards is the signature sound when it comes to recreating the Doors magic on stage and the band has never been tighter. This is a chance to give to the community and to see some dynamic entertainment.
