(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 16, 2012 ) El Segundo, CA -- Marshall Electronics, best known for their broadcast video equipment and professional microphones announce a joint venture with StreamVu TV, which allows Marshall’s new HD encoder/decoder boxes called the Producer Station to produce live HD video streaming to an unlimited number of locations when sent out to the StreamVuTV’s server. Just plug in a HD video camera and microphone to the Producers Station connected to the Internet and you’re on the air. With that connection in place, users can log into the broadcast on any computer or large screen LCD monitor.
The Producer Station is available either in standard definition with composite input (PS-11, $399), high definition HDMI input (PS-102-HDI., $999), or high definition HDSDI input (PS-102-HDSDI, $1,999). Encoders like these have traditionally been too expensive and limited to broadcast and military use. StreamVuTV’s service can cost as little as $.50 GB of data transfer. These prices puts this kind of service in the range that small and medium businesses can afford. It features a “pay as you play” pricing plan, with no minimum data usage requirements.
“Streaming live video is a great way for a corporation to communicate directly with their employees, customers, or even from trade shows”, states Perry Goldstein, Marshall Electronics Sales & Marketing Manager. “We all know that people respond to a message better when they can see the person delivering the message.
