Users get all the advantages of iTunes, but the iTunes Match component brings a whole new element to iTunes users. iTunes Match will save users from uploading tons of music to iCloud because most of it is probably already there - including tracks that would have been purchased at Amazon, eMusic, etc. Â… or ripped from CDs. Another plus to AppleÂ’s iTunes Match - once all the songs are ready, they will be playable at 256 kbps quality, even if the original music in the current iTunes library is at a lower quality bit rate. It just keeps on getting better.
How does iTunes Match work? iTunes on the userÂ’s computer will figure out which songs in the current iTunes library are available at the iTunes Store. When the songs are matched with the same music in the iTunes Store, they will be added to the userÂ’s iCloud music library, which will allow users to listen to those songs anytime, anywhere on any device, including iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch!
