(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 05, 2011 ) New York, NY -- Namco has something special to offer all Tekken fans this coming holiday season. The Tekken Hybrid is a special collection that contains ‘Tekken Blood Vengeance,’ which is a 3D CGI movie, ‘Tekken Tag Tournament’ in High Definition, and a prologue disc of ‘Tekken Tag Tournament 2’ sequel. The Tekken Hybrid release date will be on December 27, 2011.
Of the three Tekken goodies included in the Hybrid collection, people are most excited about the Tekken Tag Tournament remake. The original version of the game was one of the main attractions for Playstation Playstation 2. Tekken Tag Tournament is probably the best game of its kind. It introduced the first tag team gameplay feature, which was a great feature to use for the various characters available.
In the prologue disc, itÂ’s the same Tekken that gamers love. This time Namco has done some tweaking here and there. Players can use the Tag Assault feature, which will allow them tag a teammate to help defeat their opponent. Tekken HybridÂ’s prologue offers the same combat experience, but the settings are new for avid Tekken gamers. This time, players are taken into multi-level environments where they can be kicked around and smacked through walls. Additional features include a 3D model viewer that allows panning a camera around the characters, and a trophy support. Die-hard Tekken fans might be interested in getting the limited edition which includes music CDÂ’s, an art book with character rendering from the book, and even Tekken themed costumes and accessories.
