What People are Saying about this year's Emmy Awards

(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 20, 2011 ) Chicago, IL -- Modern Family and Mad Men were the big winners Sunday night at the 63rd Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

The 1960s Madison Avenue saga won its fourth consecutive best drama series award Sunday, while big-hearted romp "Modern Family" claimed its second best comedy trophy.

Some say Kyle Chandler was the surprise winner in the best drama actor category for the last season of Texas football drama "Friday Night Lights."

Julianna Margulies won top drama acting honors for "The Good Wife." As part of the "ER" medical drama cast, she won a supporting actress Emmy in 1995.

Melissa McCarthy of "Mike & Molly" was honored as best lead actress in a comedy series with an Emmy and a glitzy prom queen's crown, while Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" earned his second trophy in the best actor category.

We at The Stockfather wanted to publish some of the public's thoughts about the Emmys.

I AM SO GLAD 'MAD MEN' WON AGAIN. THEY ARE ORIGINAL AND REFRESHING. MODERN FAMILY IS FOR IDOIOTS

Breaking Bad is the best series ever. Mad Men is good but it is little more than a prime time soap opera. BB has been slighted again!

What happened to"Breaking Bad"? It's the best series on TV.

Good for Kyle Chandler and Julianna Margulies. They are class acts. However, the comedies are not funny are not good role models....everything is sex. When is Hollywood going to realize part of the problem society is WHAT THEY make in HOLLYWOOD and NY with the movie and tv industry. It is still too much sex and violence, and now includes "dark demonic" movies. ENOUGH ALREADY.
