Cyborg has loss before but it's been a long time and Elaina Maxwell wants to end her streak and feels it's Cyborg's worse match up, which is exactly why Cyborg has been avoiding it according to Maxwell.
Elaina Maxwell spoke to International Journalism Review (IJR) on Monday and said "Look at my resume, look who I have trained with, and look what I have done lately? It's my time, Scott Coker knows me quite well and I have no clue why my phone isn't ringing because I am sure there are not a lot of woman fighters out there calling Scott and begging to fight Cyborg. If there are, they probably don't deserve it as much as me."
"I am about fighting and getting better every day, simply I like to fight and throw blows. I just took a fight in three weeks in Absolute Action MMA out of Kentucky, Kim Couture is on the card with me, some great fighters, I will fight anyone every other week until I get the belt I want, and if you haven't figured it out yet , it is the StrikeForce Belt. Maxwell's resume is not for those who want a simple one-liner, it is in depth and continues to blossom. A former student of Cung Le, Randy Couture, and Robert Drysdale and a three time Sanshou world champion, seems like an acceptable headline? However, aligning their cross hairs in the direction of a MMA StrikeForce title, Maxwell partnered with Mike Dolce, and let's just say diet is not an issue for here on out. Now cap that with the fact the Elaina has now settled in at her newest training center with Ceasar Gracie, and one might just wonder how she can't beat Cyborg.
