(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 15, 2010 ) Houston, TX On Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 9:00 & 11:00 am Reverend Howard Caesar, Senior Minister at Unity Church of Christianity will begin his 3 part series called Co-Creating With God to Transform Your Life. This series will address the "What" and "How" to become a more Conscious Co-Creator with God in the areas of Healing, Prosperity, and Healthy Relationships. Our friends, the local African Refugees, are living proof and will join us for the services that day. In his series, Rev. Caesar will show us how to partner with God as Co-Creators in our life experience. The services will include participation by our friends, the group of African refugees who now call Unity Church and Houston, Texas their home.
The African group will be dressed in their homeland attire and will perform and drum as part of the worship service. We will hear their story choosing to create a life of love and freedom instead of violence and hate.
In the Fall of 2009, over 30 refugees from various African countries left their war-torn homeland to find peace and freedom in the United States. Pascal Motimamoti, non-declared leader of the group was at one time shot several times by soldiers at his home in the Dominican Republic of the Congo and left to die. Once arriving in Houston, he searched for many months before he found Unity church. He believes God has led him and his group to Unity.
Unity church, Skills for Living, and The Alliance for Multicultural Community Services have met with the group to asses their needs and help the group to integrate into their new community. The group speaks mostly Swahili and French. French interpreters have been provided for their meetings at Unity and for church services.
Reverend Howard Caesar says "Every person on the planet, as a child of God, is a creative being having been gifted with the opportunity to manage powerful life energies for good and ill."
