Now, have the most controversial MMA radio show analyze this marriage and one would expect a typical firestorm. However, the MMA powerhouse endorsed the Australian crowd and calling them, well well educated as well.
Lee Honish, MMA BAY Radio's main host said, "I was so impressed on how great the Australian crowd knew the sport of MMA, when a crowd is in conjunction with moves, appreciation for difficult choke holds, etc. they are a well educated crowd because it doesn't happen often."
ProFightNetwork Inc. (www.ProFightNetwork.com) a MMA social site and a website that currently holds a top-ranked MMA forum recently moved their top ranked radio show across the pond and changed the name to MMABAY Radio from Fight_Net Radio continues its dominance of going against the grain. From propelling fighter unions to lobbying for the formation of other MMA promotions, ProFightNetwork (PFN) believes its message is being starting to be heard. PFN's president, Chris Greenman, is apparently keeping its course.
Greenman told International Journalism Review that, "We don't do anything difficult, we simply give credit where credit is due and question things that educated people should ask about the sport of MMA. I mean "do the right thing" and we are on your side, we publicly praised the Florida State Athletic Commission for its recent action, and I will go on record to say that UFC 110 was probably the best card I have ever seen, great job Joe Silva and Dana!"
PFN's president admits that from a business model it would make more sense to follow the industry lead and go with what sells but he told us that ProFighNetwork is gaining its own momentum and it is already set up infrastructure wise to handle millions of members. However, until that day, the staff at ProFightNetwork, MMA Bay, LV Sports Magazine seem content with staying course, that is as they describe being unbiased and delivering expert MMA analysis and entertainment along with it.
