(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, November 04, 2016 ) Orlando, FL -- Commonly used modern phrases are rather interesting, and can even add flavor to the more colorfully detailed language we speak in America today, as versus past centuries. One of the most commonly used phrases today that makes reference to ages past, consists of the words, "Oldies but Goodies". That phrase generally refers most commonly to songs from the middle part of the last century, but sometimes it's also used in reference to older people who have developed a reputation over the years as being a good or popular person, whom most people look up to in some way. Even a very large number of radio stations across America and some that also are very popular in various foreign countries as well, are devoted to playing songs referenced as "Oldies But Goodies", and the original performers of those songs are often presented as ALSO being "Oldies But Goodies" as well.

The songs most commonly referred to as "Golden Oldies" are the songs that date from the 1950's through the early 1960's. Many of those songs were delivered so beautifully, and with such heartfelt emotions, they have become a permanent foundation for the modern music industry. While a lot of great hit songs preceded the 1950s, coming on strong in the 1930s and 40s, it was a major turning point in pop music with the birth of rock and roll in the early 1950s. There were many popular artists from the golden oldies era such as Fats Domino, Sam Cooke, Pat Boone, Brenda Lee, Connie Francis, Ricky Nelson, Dion and the Belmonts, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, the Big Bopper, Bobby Rydell, Bobby Vee, Bobby Vinton, Annette Funicello, the Coasters, the Temptations, Paul Anka, Frankie Avalon, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, the Four Freshmen, The Four Tops, Don Gibson, the Kingsmen, the Ventures, the Safaris, the Beach Boys, the Tokens, the McGuire Sisters, Sam the Sham, Paul Revere and the Raiders, the Dixie Cups, the Tremelos, the Righteous Brothers, the Four Seasons, and hundreds more great performers!!!

The designation of older pop tunes as 'oldies' can be traced back to Los Angeles radio DJ Art Laboe, who first coined the phrase in response to many of his listeners wanting to listen to songs from earlier in that decade. With a live radio show and the resulting large audience and all the popular requests, he began to turn that concept into an idea for an album. It was there that the term "Oldies but Goodies" was first coined. That phrase soon became well known, thanks also in part to a song released in 1961 called, "Those Oldies but Goodies", by Little Caesar and the Romans.
The catch phrase from this song title became more popular in later years when many people started to become emotionally affected by the nostalgia created as those tunes brought back many precious memories to people's minds.

Those who are nostalgically affected by the songs of the past may find many copies of the "Oldies But Goodies" on various web sites by simply searching the titles and the artist names. Another way to experience the oldies is by searching for a HUGE music team that performed reproductions of the great oldies hits over a 17 year total period, and especially during 10 years of shows during which time they traveled all around and performed almost 350 live shows. The team consisted of over 135 people and were know as "24K Gold Music Shows". Those interested can find videos to watch for free on 24K Gold Music's various channels on You Tube, on Facebook, and coming soon a completely revised and rebuilt web site that will be found soon at the url, www.C24K.com.
