Jessica Reed, Globeproof Customer Service Manager, apologized for any inconvenience the lack of inventory may have caused for the company's customers. The company had underestimated the demand for the product set when producing the first lot. The set is convenient for travelers because it allows them to secure their suitcase and one zip on the suitcase with one single purchase.
The travel accessories company had been selling the set of luggage strap and lock on Amazon in Germany since January 2016 before running out of inventory in late February. "When we noticed how fast the set was selling, we worked on producing more as fast as possible. Unfortunately, we weren't able to produce as fast as the items were selling", says Globeproof founder Danja Port.
Now, the company has restocked their inventory on Amazon. The luggage strap is green with a black lock, making suitcases wrapped with it easily recognizable at airports. The extra lock ist green as well. Both lock on the belt and the extra lock are equipped with a TSA approved lock, so customs officers can open them without hassle or breaking them. The strap is infinitely adjustable and both locks have changeable lock combinations – no key needed.
