(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, March 08, 2016 ) Latin guitarist -- Vincenzo Martinelli, the world renowned Latin guitarist, recently spoke about the Entre Dos Aguas Flamenco classic. The Entre Dos Aguas - Paco de Lucia is one of his favourites, and in fact Martinelli included his own Entre Dos Aguas Cover in his second album Che Sara. "The song was a creation of the legendary Paco de Lucia, and it was his first big hit," says Martinelli, who regards the song as one of his all-time favourites. "The irony of it was that the song was entirely improvised, and Paco just came up with it quickly to act as filler for the album." It was Paco de Lucia who took flamenco music from the dark shadows of gypsy rooms and into the limelight of the mainstream stage. And Dos Aguas helped in making flamenco music more popular all over the world. "I've been playing Entre Dos Aguas live for a very long time now, and I plan to keep playing it for a long while," promises Martinelli. "It is very suitable for a guitar, and it also perfectly matches how I and the other musicians improvise with one another." When Martinelli first heard the song, its effect on him was so profound that he was moved to learn it right away. But he didn't realize just how much of a challenge that would be for him. "The song seemed simple, but it was actually difficult to learn," admitted Martinelli. "It required me to try to be as fast and skilled as I could be, because Paco was one of the fastest and best guitar players in the world during his time."
