According to Bunnyjolly media spokesman David Johnson, over 10,000 flights were canceled over the past week-end (1/23), causing unprecedented delays through the air, and disrupting travel. At four of some of the busiest airports in the U.S., BWI, Reagan, Dulles, and Philadelphia, all flights were canceled on Saturday, as snow pummeled the east and mid-atlantic with a reckless and relentless abandon. This caused a ripple effect seen even as far as San Francisco on Saturday, where 80 flights were canceled, and Florida, where over 200 flights were canceled out of Orlando, a large southeastern hub. "This situation has been very trying on the large population of the East Coast, traveler, and otherwise. First and foremost, we hope everyone and their loved ones stayed safe and out of harm's way during this massive and destructive storm."
