The brand launched their first product, a RFID Money Belt, on amazon.com in August 2015. The first order sold out within 6 weeks having the company ordering the next batch as soon as possible.
Still, the company managed to update the product design. "We wanted to test the market with a low profile branding first. Therefore our first order only had visible branding on the packaging and not on the product itself. Although we were absolutely convinced of the quality of our Globeproof Money Belt we thought taking this low key approach with a new brand was the right way for us", explains a company spokesperson. "Now that our success in sales and the ever growing number of five star reviews on Amazon shows that we have a great product on our hands we thought it was about time to proudly put our logo on it."
Still, Globeproof opted for a rather small withe logo located on the lower right corner of the front of the money belt. "A flashy, 'look at me' logo would not fit our premium claim. We think that a smaller, less obtrusive logo looks a lot more high class", the spokesperson declares.
The branded version of the Globeproof Money Belt is available for sale on amazon.com since September 28th 2015. Since October 5th Globeproof also sells it on amazon.de.
