"We noticed from the beginning of each trip that Marion would have everything organized neatly to "irritating" perfection while I would be scrambling for items and documents at the last minute which wasted previous time and evoked unwanted emotions" said Granville. "We were stoked to share our experiences when we realized that we could combine it with our passion for creating innovative designs to help others organize themselves better when travelling." They named their company as such as what they needed to make travelling more convenient was roomy products and sufficient space!
In researching their products, Roomi Space learned that many family and friends prefer Travel Organisers that can serve different types of travel, whether for business or pleasure. These should be lightweight but hardy, and be both water-proof and scratch-proof. And it also shouldn't cost a fortune. Thus they launched their flagship product, the Travel Wallet and Passport Holder, in August on Amazon. Within a week of launching, their sales were promising and saw their rankings rise. Stirred by the positive responses, they have started research and design of other products such as a Toiletry Bag and Clothes & Shoes Packing Bags, as well as in other colours.
The Roomi Space website has been launched, where there are good blogs sharing travel tips and some interesting videos of their flagship product. One of the co-owners is an Etiquette coach and has given suggestions on how to plan for a trip as well as how to organize carry on luggage and travel documents.
