This is Colorolio's first foray into the brick and mortar scene. Terry Hardcastle, owner of Colorolio, believes that by working with Creative Foundations, there is a synergy built on common interests; creative expression and self-reliance.
Through Creative Foundations' Supportive Living program, those with developmental disabilities are provided assistance based on need to live as independently as possible in the community. Assistance with grocery shopping, budgeting, and socialization are all offered through the Foundation.
Additionally, through their Integrated Day Services, Creative Foundations offers paid employment for individuals while giving them a chance to creatively express themselves. Through Our Town Studios, Creative Foundations is able to present their artists' work, which includes fine art, painting, and drawings.
At Our Town Studios, located in Delaware, Ohio, enormous bay windows invite passersby to come in and check out this singular establishment. Inside, just beyond the art studio, groups of artists create new work for display and sale.
As no other pencils, pens, or brushes are currently sold at Our Town Studios - only original art - Colorolio's 24 pencils will be the first set of artists' tools made available through the store.
