(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, August 31, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- Los Angeles native, Alex Scott has spent the last two years heading out in the dead of night to shoot the freeways and underbelly of his home town.
One night while shooting a video for his KickStarter campaign on the Pasadena 110 Freeway overpass, he heard a sound and went to investigate. His videographer had the presence of mind to hit record on the camera and follow Scott's investigation.
And what should he find but a tiny kitten, unable to find its way off the overpass. While Scott may seem to be a rough and gritty fellow out shooting dark images of Los Angeles, the YouTube video captures some tender moments between the photographer and the kitten revealing a softer side to the guy that walks on freeways.
Scott began this project over two years ago and calls it Nobody Walks In LA.
"Nobody Walks In LA is a photographic essay showing my unique perspective of the city I grew up in. I climbed on freeways in the middle of the night for the last 2 years to capture these haunting photos that tell of an almost mythical version of LA that most certainly doesn't exist – one without cars. This is not some sorcery or movie magic as commonly seen here in Hollywood. I wandered the city night after night for hours searching for just the right spot at just the right moment to snap my shutter and freeze a rare, quiet and naked Los Angeles."
His KickStarter team has created hashtags to make it simple to find out more about the project from his supporters - #nobodywalksinla and #alexscottart
