The travel accessories company strategically made a move recently to offer a sale price on its premium money belt. The sale pricing allows customers to avoid paying shipping costs if they buy two or more money belts.
While Amazon Prime members automatically quality for free shipping on the money belt, those that do not have a Prime membership incur shipping costs. Amazon does, however, offer free shipping on orders above $35. With the customer in mind, Traveler's Peak is now offering its money belt for $17.99, down from its original retail price of $25.99. When customers buy two money belts, it puts them just above the $35 mark and allows them to qualify for Amazon's free shipping on orders above $35.
According to instructions on Amazon, customers who wish to take advantage of this incentive are advised to select the "Group my items into as few shipments as possible" as their shipping preference. This will then allow for the free shipping option as the shipping speed.
