(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, May 30, 2015 ) Stockholm, Bromma -- Bachata and Kizomba are the two quickest growing social dances in the world right now. The music is smooth and passionate and the dances are intimate and sensual. With artists like Romeo Santos, Prince Royce, Nelson Freitas and Mika Mendes the music can be heard on radio stations in almost every country. As the music keeps growing the dance community is also ever expanding.
In Stockholm the dance school IDance.se recently launched the new concept Sensual Nights together with Kizomba Flow. The concept is a union between the two sensual dances Bachata and Kizomba. "In Stockholm salsa is usually the dance that people start out with, after that they either continue with Bachata or Kizomba but not that many people dance both dances here. We wanted to unify the Bachata and Kizomba communities in Stockholm" says a representative from IDance.se.
How does the Sensual Nights work? Every Sensual Night begins with drop in courses in 3 levels in both dances, one hour of Kizomba and one hour of Bachata. The 3 distinct levels of each dance makes it possible for dancers ranging from absolute beginners to experienced dancers to join in. To make dancing more accessible to new dancers the first level of both Bachata and Kizomba is free of charge. "Letting people learn the basics of each dance is a way for us to bridge the communities and also makes it easier to bring a friend along who is curious about dancing" says Andreas Källman, the founder of IDance.se. Sensual Nights feature the leading Bachata and Kizomba dancers in Sweden. Andreas Källman from IDance.se is a two times Swedish Champion in Bachata and Kristofer Mencák from Kizomba flow is a two times Scandinavian Champion in Kizomba in addition to this top instructors from other dance schools are brought in to guest instruct.
When the classes are over the party begins, dancing, mingling, meeting new people and having a drink in the bar is on the agenda. The music switches between Bachata and Kizomba so the dancers can try out the new moves they learned in the courses. What differentiates Sensual nights from the other dance clubs in Stockholm is the atmosphere. Everyone talks and dances with everyone, new people are welcomed by experienced dancers. With over 200 dancers attending each week the concept seems to be working.
The last Sensual Nights for this season will take place on the 4th of June but after the summer the Sensual Nights will be back, every Thursday at Två Grabbar & Kök.
