(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, May 27, 2015 ) BUFFALO, N.Y. Ryan Casullo, the chairman of Music is Art, has passed away from injuries sustained during a motorcycle crash.
On Saturday evening, 34-year-old Casullo was entering the I-190 ramp at Niagara Street when he crashed his motorcycle into a box truck. The impact threw Casullo from the motorcycle.
Casullo was then transported to the ECMC, where he later died from his injuries.
Casullo was known for being the chairman of Music is Art, a nonprofit, 501c3 organization founded by Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac that aims to enrich communities by providing access to music.
The Music is Art site has been updated in memory of Ryan Casullo. An excerpt from the update said, Ryan came to MiA with grand visions of growth for the organization and motivated us all to strive for greater things. We will surely miss his upbeat attitude, his love for loud guitars and his willingness to give of himself for the benefit of others. He was truly a special person.
