Residents Complain About Megabus Creating Traffic in Atlanta

(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, November 11, 2014 ) Atlanta, GA -- Megabus is a bus system that was created to allow passengers a low-cost option for traveling between states (the company advertises that fares start at $1). They have been running throughout major cities for nearly ten years now, with the downtown Atlanta hub (located at the Civic Center MARTA station) opening back in 2011.

While the idea was to make traveling more economical, local residents have unintentionally been inconvenienced by the mess that Megabuses have made of the roads.

Anyone who has been to Atlanta can agree that the traffic there is already an ongoing battle. "It's way too congested,” says one citizen. He mentions how the buses have gradually taken over the roads and have created a mess. Cars, buses and pedestrians are all trying to get around each other at the same time, forcing them to disobey traffic laws at times, just to make progress toward their destination. Even City Councilman Kwanza Hall agrees, by saying, “It does create a bottleneck on a daily basis.”

More traffic, especially when it is congested and unruly, means there is a much higher risk for an auto accident to happen. The personal injury law firm of John Foy & Associates is currently providing free consultations to victims of any traffic accident that should occur. Those in need of legal assistance may chat online with a representative for free at http://www.johnfoy.com or simply call the firm’s office.
