Grating on my Mind the ultra cool cookbook of grating recipes written by Celebrity Chef Boudreaux exclusively for purchasers of The Grate which, in the famed Chef's words is ‘the best damn kitchen tool in the world' has been making a sensation in the wonderful world of grating.
Boudreaux roared onto the scene of Celebrity Chef when, quite by accident, when he was asked to prepare his already famous Gumbo, for the President of Le Societe' de la Merde, who was at his roadside diner.
Says Leon Dufraisne, President of Le Societe' de la Merde,"There I was stuck in traffic on Route 61, and when I was almost upon Route 49, I just happened upon this quaint little diner named, "Ordelia's". There it was smack dab right in the middle of the highway! Doing a bang up business it was! So, I implored upon Chef Boudreaux to make me some of his gumbo that all the people who were also stuck in traffic were yawin' about. Dang! That stuff was good."
From there, Boudreaux went on to earn the highest award given to anyone bestowed by the Societe' - "Chevalier de Ordre National de la Légion d'merde".
"I'm just overjoyed about the reception that this little book is getting. It was inspired by my ex-wife Ordelia after a particularly painful phone call with her. Instead of doing what I really wanted to do, I sat down and wrote that little gem especially for the damn fine people who have bought ‘the Best Damn Kitchen Tool in the World – The Grate," says Boudreaux.
