Aside, from the already incredible program, this year includes 2 new shows. The Racing Pigs of Hambone Express and the Flying K9 Dog Show. These are both shows that will surely keep the audience entertained. The dog show is really heart-warming. The dog trainer exemplifies the beautiful relationship between man and dog as the dogs respond to him in all sorts of quirky ways. The dogs wow the audience, as they jump high in to the air while catching frisbees. The dogs look so happy and really allow the audience to fall in love with them. Kudos to the dog owner who lovingly cares for them.
The second show that is new to White Post Farms in Long Island is the Hambone Express Show. What a sight it is to see four little piggies race around a track wearing superhero capes while the crowd cheers on their favorite little piggy. The kids are screaming and jumping from excitement as the pigs compete for the final prize. The final prize is a cookie that they get to eat when they finish the race.
"This year, the live entertainment is different than other years," said Al, the manager, "I really like this years choices because it really allows our visitors to connect to animals in a fun way. At the farm, we really care for our animals and its nice to see shows that share that same passion."
The love of animals is obvious at White Post Farms. The are a number of exotic animals and farm animals that can be fed. The animals respond lovingly and the Farm is clean and upkept. The aren't flies and manure all over the stalls. At the farm, there is a surprise around every corner, whether it be a singing chicken show, a railroad train or a mining station. There is always a reason to come back to this beautiful Long Island farm.
