(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, August 25, 2013 ) Dubai, UAE -- Dr. Naik, a renowned orator and Islamic scholar will be adding a branch of his Islamic International School which will focus on a combination of Islamic and modern studies, he announced to Gulf News after he received the prestigious Islamic Personality of the Year Award.
Dr. Naik is only the second Indian to receive the award, the first being Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi. He is now among many Islamic luminaries throughout the world, including Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi and Alija Izetbegovic.
Zakir’s older brother, Dr. Mohammad Naik, who played a key role in his rise as a renowned orator said “We always thought Zakir would be the last person to succeed as a public speaker because he used to stammer a lot.” Now, he has enhanced his speech drastically and everyone realized that through hard work, his stammering had ceased.
Dr. Naik also plans to expand Peace TV in 10 major languages of the world. Currently, it is broadcast in only five languages. The school in Dubai is set to open for enrollment by September 15.
