Fashion Photographer Herb Ritts at his best, with some really eye-opening pics of such famous people (from President Mandela to Madonna)

The photographer unfortunately passed away much too soon in 2002 due to the HIV/AIDS virus, which he had to endure for a few years in the 80's and 90's until his final passing time. Other icon entertainers that have gone on to honor his name included Madonna. Fashion Photographer Herb actually took a pic of the pop icon which was then used as the True Blue album cover. It was in fact while living in Los Angeles, he became interested in photography when he and friend Richard Gere, then just an up and coming actor went on to shoot some pictures right by an old jacked up Buick.
