Skeptics of the supposed skill, such as famous television illusionist Derren Brown, worries that the trend of fraudsters and charlatans is not small portions of the industry, but an industry designed to duped people as a whole.
Regardless of his, and many other skeptics' concerns, the industry grows in all areas. Astrological charts, tarot-reading fortune tellers, and others are all seeing a boom in Britain. Even the police have gotten into the act, as they have used mediums in order to try and solve cold cases and difficult crimes.
