(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, March 05, 2013 ) Las Vegas, NV -- A Las Vegas photography company, one that has been renowned in Clark County, has been looking to do what they can to discover new talent - even at the high school level. They’ve teamed up with administrators and teachers to try to encourage talented high school photographers to continue on their path, as a means of bringing photography to the forefront and for young talent to seriously consider it as a career choice, especially considering that cameras have gotten cheaper and virtually everyone has a somewhat decent camera with their smartphone.
“All kids have cameras these days. We’re hoping to foster some talent and some interest in these kids, as we think that there’s a chance that some of them can be really good. Sure, they all may not be passionate about it at first, but not many people know what they want to do out of high school. We’re here to open some eyes and encourage some kids to actually try this out. The response so far has been really good, and we think that we may even be able to have some internships in the future. Some of these kids are really that good.”
The Las Vegas commercial photography company has set up stations at a few local high schools, and depending on the response that they get, they’re even open to expanding their operation to do the same in high schools in the county, if not the state. They said that they’ve even hired one student for weekend work.
Commercial photography is a booming industry that is highly adaptable and integrated into various facets of business and personal photography - with work ranging from wedding & holiday photos for families, to team photos for company websites, on up to photography for full-fledged advertising and marketing campaigns.
