A Las Vegas photography company is now getting into the mix and doing the same. It's been considered a very dangerous place for photographers - especially women - but they state that this is something that every photographer lives for, even though doing so may put them in some sort of peril. According to the owner of the company, the trip is something that he views as a calling.
"It's true that the trip is really dangerous for journalists and photographers. While we're not what I would call a journalist, there is still a story that we can tell. These places are very interesting, and it's even magnified by what they're doing over there. Sure, we may face a little adversity, but that's never shied us from doing much of anything. We're a little confrontational - and maybe a little crazy. Regardless, we think that this is probably one of the biggest things that we have done, and we're not going to let any of that stop us now."
The Las Vegas commercial photography company is starting in Egypt, and they state that they already have their travel arrangements. Once they get there, they will be in touch with the local fixers and start getting everything on film. They plan to spend a month on this expedition, and they hope to publish most of their work on their company website once they return.
