(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, March 04, 2013 ) Las Vegas, NV -- A Las Vegas commercial photography company has started work on something that they consider their most noteworthy cause - capturing images about the spread of disease. The company is working closely with a group of scientists who are interested in tracking the physical effects of disease on a multitude of subjects, all for the sake of assisting medical professionals who need these images for study. The goal is to give doctors and hospitals a point of reference when they're faced with them in their work.
One of the scientists had this to say, "We could have just as easily taken these pictures ourselves, but we thought it would be a better idea for us to get professionals in on the action. The biggest point of emphasis was clarity, and while there are a few of us who practice photography in our spare time - these guys get paid to do it. You can always make a pizza, but a pizza chef will give you better results. We had that in mind as we were making our decision, and these guys seemed like a natural fit."
The owner of the photography company has long been interested in work that was much more than what his Las Vegas photography firm generally warranted. He decided to contact the CDC after learning about the job, and he has already published some of the work on the company's website. The company has been contracted throughout this calendar year, and should the scientists need them, they’ll continue work on the next assignment.
Commercial photography is a booming industry that is highly adaptable and integrated into various facets of business and personal photography - with work ranging from wedding & holiday photos for families, to team photos for company websites, on up to photography for full-fledged advertising and marketing campaigns.
