(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, March 04, 2013 ) Las Vegas, NV -- A Las Vegas photography company has claimed to have found some new plant life in the world's largest rain forest. According to the head of the expedition - who is also a scientist - claims that the new species of plant is something that they've been looking for a while, but haven't actually been successful in finding it. This expedition, which wasn't intended to be for scientific purposes, has definitely turned into exactly that. In regards to the matter, he had this to say:
"It's funny how you find things when you're not particularly looking for them. It's really interesting that we actually found it here. We expected it to be hundreds of miles away from this location, but here it is - plain as day. We hope to report our findings to the necessary organizations, but for now, we're just going to celebrate this momentous achievement."
The Las Vegas commercial photography company - a group of about 20 - initially set out to the Amazon for no real purpose than to just explore the rain forest. Led by an eccentric owner of the company and extraordinarily accomplished photographer, it’s safe to assume that they got a little more than what they were hoping, but they seemed to be just as happy as the scientists who have been looking for the elusive plant. While they say that they’re planning on staying for a couple more weeks, they said that the trip could already be considered a grand success.
