(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, December 21, 2012 ) Spokane, WA -- False Impressions, the debut novel by veteran forensic dentist and NYPD consultant Dr. Stanley Woods-Frankel is a hit with dentists around the country. They can’t seem to get enough of Steve Landau, the main character of the book, and the wild twists and turns Frankel weaves into his new book seamlessly.

Dr. Frankel worked on the series of mystery novels for 8 years before finally pitching the series to Grundy in 2011. Soon after considering the manuscript Zharmae Press agreed to publish the series seeing a huge potential market for the book among the general public. What they didn't know, was how the dental community would react. As Grundy says, “They ate it up and asked for more!”
Dr. Frankel has been doing 1 or 2 book readings in the New York area every week since the book’s release in August to packed libraries and bookstores. With several more book readings in the calendar, it would seem the that the general public is also eating up False Impressions. Because of the popularity of the book in the dental community, many of the largest dental trade journals have asked for review copies and have promised positive reviews in January and February of 2013.
Grundy says Zharmae Press is in talks with Dr. Frankel for the second book, and expects a spring or summer release for the yet, untitled second installment in the Steve Landau Thriller series.
