(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, November 06, 2012 ) Farmington Hills, MI – Long-time family members and young lieutenants of the once powerful Ricci mob were stunned as they witnessed the carnage at the infamous gin-mill pothouse on Ten Mile Road.
At one point during the harum-scarum the melee became so loud that the Ricci Consigliore, Alfredof Mishado, requested that the music volume be raised as high as it could go. The orchestra obliged and the band played on with more top-40 hits from the 50’s and 60’s and 70’s. The consummate entertainer, Carluccio took control of the situation and began singing the 1952 hit song by composer Harry Warren and lyricist Jack Brooks, “That's Amore.”
Within moments, the smoke settled as both sides began rubbing out their eyes instead of each other claiming to the authorities later, “It was the smoke, I tell you, it was the smoke!” But, as Carluccio continued with the next audience request, “Volare,” (written by Franco Migliacci and Domenico Modugno, released February 1958 and subsequently recorded by a wide range of performers, including Dean Martin, Al Martino, David Bowie, Gipsy Kings, Barry White and Michael Carluccio), it was clear that a mutual ‘cease-fire’ brought the massacre to a peaceful halt.
Acclaimed former Detroit newspaper paper boy and music critic, Dennis Nazelli expected this reaction to Carluccio’s command of his audiences. “Michael takes charge of everything in his performances down to volume of speakers and microphone.” Nazelli went to explain that, “I saw Michael use his marine sniper skills once at an outdoor party on an Ohio golf course. During his performance of Sinatra’s “Fly me to the Moon,” Mike took out his rifle with silencer and scope to dispose of an annoying Blue Jay.”
Carluccio, the entertainer with a “Thousand Voices,” has performed his 1 Man Legends Show from New York to L.A. with stops in Central Park, St. Louis, Las Vegas, the Hollywood Bowl …
Like a pendulum, Mike’s Las Vegas 1 Man Legends Show, moves back and forth through the late 1950’s, the 60’s and 70’s using Michael’s ‘thousand voices’ from Frank Sinatra to the persona of the Rock and Roll era: Neil Diamond, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, George Jones, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Marty Robins, Willie Nelson, and, of course, the King – Elvis Presley!
