Located in the heart of historic Shelbyville, IL this new private arts and recreation space is the one-of-a-kind place to hold private events, including holiday parties, formals, corporate meetings as well as annual award and fundraising banquets.
The venue is a large re-purposed brick church featuring two beautiful spaces, including reclaimed floors, cathedral wood ceilings, architectural beams, water features and spectacular lighting. The spaces are equipped with everything clients need to accommodate their special event. It features one large room (Studio A) with spacious seating options for up to 300 guests and a second space (Studio B) for smaller events up to 200. Clients also have an option to hold their wedding ceremony in one space and wedding reception in the other as the smaller space will hold many more guests when tables are not used. The space also features private bride and groom changing suites, and other touches standard banquet halls fail to offer.
Proprietor Renee Tucker is a hospitality industry veteran who has recently renovated and launched the new concept to fill a large void in the area. “We have created something very unique that works for area residence in these tough economic times. People are looking for somewhere unique and classy yet economical to hold their special events. The problem is people find themselves with too many boring options that require a ton of decorating. This really over-complicates planning and drastically drives up the overall price of their event. Our goal is to provide a very simplified and elegant experience close to home through affordable packages that pack in loads of value, all under one convenient roof.”
