It is currently on the road again, starting with its series of presentations in none other than the Big Apple, New York, New York, at Radio City Music Hall. The calendars of the Rockettes are full, with the first shows starting on November 9. Aside from Spectacular, visitors can also join a tour that gives them access to various iconic spots of New York such as the Rockeller Center. They can get in to the limited-access sections of Radio City Music Hall and even get a photo opportunity with the Rockettes.
The Spectacular has become an annual event for more than 50 years. It began as a very short performance of no more than an hour. When the Hall stopped showing films, the show extended to 90 minutes. The shows are known for many things, inclduing flamboyant backdrops, jaw-dropping costumes, incredible original songs, funy choreography, and thematic storyline. Aside from the back-end team, Radio City Christmas Spectacular is made up of over 100 performers, most of them the Rockettes.
The Rockettes have amassed fans all around the globe, thanks to the overwhelming success of the Spectacular. They have also performed outside the show, suhc as the half-time show of the Superbowl, Dancing with the Stars and Tony Awards.
