(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, September 20, 2012 ) Chicago, IL – The King’s Men concert tour will include a stop at the United Center in Chicago. The tour, which features four of the most successful gospel music performers namely Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, and Israel Houghton, will share the same stage in the prime Chicago venue on the 10th of October.
The four artists have more than 100 major awards combined. These awards include Grammys awards, Dove awards, Soul Train, BET, NAACP, Stellar, and American Music Awards. Each one of them has also sold out concerts held in various cities all over the world. The King’s Men concert tour is the first time for all four to share the same stage.
The United Center show is part of The King’s Men concert tour scheduled for the fall of 2012. The historic tour will visit a total of 15 U.S. cities and has chosen major venues including Gibson Amphitheatre, Verizon Theatre, Reliant Arena, American Airlines Arena in Miami, Verizon Center, Fox Theatre, and Barclays Center.
The tour debuted at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix AZ last September 16 and will end September with a show in Miami on the 30th. Its series of October shows will begin on October 2 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa FL. By October 10, The King’s Men will perform at the United Center, one of Chicago’s most well-known venues.
The King’s Men is produced by Live Nation, one of the largest tour promoters in the industry.

Kirk Franklin has sold several platinum albums and has been providing inspirational gospel songs for over two decades. He is known for his ability to bridge the gap between gospel music, pop, and R&B. His talent has helped him consistently top not only the Gospel charts but also the R&B/Hip Hop charts.
Marvin Sapp, who released his first album in 1996, have been providing award-winning gospel music since then. His seventh and latest album ‘Here I Am’ made history when it debuted at Number 2 on Billboard’s Top 200 and also by becoming the highest charting gospel album in the history of Billboard music charts.
Donnie McClurkin, a cancer survivor, has provided the world with passionate uplifting gospel music for many years now. Called to minister, Donnie has never successfully been able to stay away from making music.
Israel Houghton started out as a worship leader at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. He released his album ‘Whisper It Loud’ in 1997. Since then, he has been recording and performing gospel music all over the world and even performed at the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
