Announcing the Release of New Western: The Indigo Kid—Shoot-out at the Bar-T Ranch by D. L. Thomas, Published by Outskirts Press

(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, October 31, 2018 ) D.L. Thomas has just released the sequel to Savage Justice with his seventh novel: The Indigo Kid—Shoot-out at the Bar-T Ranch. The Western has been published by Outskirts Press—the fastest-growing, full-service self-publishing and book marketing company.

When nineteen-year-old Henry Billups vows revenge on the three outlaws who murdered his parents, he turns to Virgil Petry, an ex-bounty hunter who teaches Henry to shoot. Henry and Virgil hit the trail in pursuit of the three outlaws. Through a set of bizarre incidents, some involving Bart Mason, owner of the Bar-T Ranch, Henry becomes known as The Indigo Kid, a feared gunfighter. After returning to Indigo, the frontier town he lives in, he meets and falls in love with Julie Mays, the niece of the sheriff, Burton Carr. Henry asks Julie to marry him. She enthusiastically says yes.
Shoot-out at the Bar-T Ranch begins on their wedding day. Henry wants to go to the mining town of Junction Flats for their honeymoon, where Virgil is living. The third night into their trip Julie is swept away by a flash flood and pulled from the river by Eli Peters. She becomes seriously ill with cholera as a result. Upon returning to Indigo, Henry discovers that the two men who hate him most are partners in a new enterprise, the Indigo Merchandise Emporium, which opens to great fanfare. Henry's business, Billups and Son, General Merchandise, is hit hard, as intended. Less than two weeks after it opens, the Indigo Merchandise Emporium is set ablaze in the middle of the night. Henry, who has the most to gain by its destruction, is arrested on suspicion of arson and taken to jail. But who set the fire and why? And how does this lead to a shoot-out at the Bar-T Ranch?
