(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 30, 2012 ) SANTA FE, NM -- Mark White Fine Art is proud to announce that Mark White and son, Ethan White, have been accepted to show their unique works at the Beverly Hills Art Show Spring 2012. Mark will be displaying his kinetic wind sculpture, while Ethan will show his paintings.
Held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, the Beverly Hills Art Show is one of the largest in the nation, with work by 250 artists from around the country. The show is free to the public and includes work in a variety of mediums; including painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media, sculpture and others.
A beloved event in the West Coast arts community, the show offers the opportunity for Mark and Ethan to bring their work to an even wider audience and meet with other artists working in their mediums. In addition to the work of the artists who were accepted, the show will offer live music, art demonstrations, tasty food, and a beer and wine garden. There will also be plenty of family activities throughout the weekend.
Ethan White is a visual artist, dancer and the founder of the multi-disciplinary arts organization “Urban Art Farm” which provides space for the creation of dance, visual art, music, and hosting informal performances, fundraisers and community gatherings. His visual art is currently focused on transferring the study of form movement and expression onto metal whether it is a bronze sculpture or stainless steel and copper canvases which are engraved and then painted with translucent patinas.
