The thirteen episodes are better known as Season 6-B and comes with a host of other special features. Futurama is an animated science fiction series that originally debuted on Fox and ran for several years before it switched over to Comedy Central.
Futurama season 6 picks up where the last season ended with more laughs than ever before. In March 2011, it was announced that Futurama has been renewed for a seventh seventh season, consisting of at least 26 episodes, scheduled to air in 2012 and 2013.
