(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 26, 2009 ) ST. LOUIS, MO – Representing emerging artists like Wasting Days, Drift Effect, and Science Hill, EliteROCK Records is poised to become a respected independent music label. The St. Louis based company, owned by Jay Wells and Bill Johnson, will be partnering with Infamous Worldwide of Dallas, TX to provide publicity services for its artists.
“When Jay got in touch with Infamous and had us listen to their bands, I immediately recognized the professionalism and potential of this new label,” says Sean Hansen, CEO of Infamous Worldwide, Inc. “First off, the music they they represent is killer, but most importantly, I picked up on the dedication Jay felt towards his artists in our early conversations. EliteROCK has nearly all the pieces in place to build a successful label – great distribution, top-tier booking, and a great marketing strategy. All that was missing was the PR piece, and Infamous is proud to bring that to the table for Jay and Bill.”
Beginning their partnership as the Artist Management firm “Lucky 7 Management” in 2007, Jay and Bill continued to expand their service offerings by partnering with organizations like Centerstage Merchandise (merch) and Scott Hansen Productions (video), and leveraging their extensive contacts with world-class organizations like The Agency Group, William Morris Agency, TKO, and Creative Artists.
“This partnership with Infamous rounds out our service offerings,” offers Jay Wells, co-founder of ERR. “We did our research on Infamous - their clients love them, and in this business that means a lot. They’re working with some killer bands, and by all accounts Infamous is opening doors for them. The publicity and marketing services they offer complement what we do perfectly, and both Bill and I are excited about the potential here.”
