When Danja Port traveled the world, she often did not know how to safely carry her money and other valuables with her. She wanted to travel safely, but in style. "I needed a money belt that was not overly big and bulky. Something that a woman could hide under fitted clothing but that was not flimsy either. Since I could not find that product, I figured I am going to produce it!", she says. The idea for Globeproof was born.
Several months later, the company will soon introduce its first product, the Globeproof Money Belt. With the product launch on amazon.com only a couple of days away, Globeproof now created several social accounts to start a conversation with future customers. They are now active on Facebook, Twitter and on their own blog "Globeproof - Wherever life takes you" on their website. Other social media accounts, such as YouTube or Pinterest, will follow in the near future.
While Facebook and Twitter will mostly be for awakening (or fueling) wanderlust in Globeproof fans with travel impressions and inspiring travel quotes, the Globeproof blog will regularly offer hands-on tips for traveling with ease and in style.
