(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 11, 2008 ) Peter Henley, a British national, has a wealth of hospitality experience internationally, having held executive positions in multinational companies, including Holiday Inn Worldwide Asia Pacific, Raffles Holdings Limited, Panorama Hospitality and Morgan Stanley Properties Limited.
Mr Henley, successor to Mr Kurt Rufli, who is retiring after 36 years with Amari, now takes over the helm at Amari Hotels and Resorts to guide the group, in the next stage of its development. Mr Henley was quoted as saying “Kurt Rufli is a hard act to follow. He has done a wonderful job to build Amari Hotels and Resorts to the respected position it holds in the industry today. I am delighted to be back in Asia to work with our owners and my new colleagues at Amari, to build on his good work and to lead the group on its next exciting phase of development, both in Thailand and beyond.”
