They definitely chill a drink which is great for Bourbon or a good Scotch/Whiskey. They do stay cool for a long time but the best part is that they chill your drink and never dilute it!
For any of the reviews that knock these and say they don't get cold enough are not using them for their intended purpose. This product really is great. I have found that these stay cold longer than actual whiskey stones (soapstones) and they give your drink a modern feel.
