Historically, families and older travelers have always been more conscious about personal safety compared to younger travelers who are out to explore the world. Most backpackers are searching for a sense of adventure, and Egypt is an ideal destination. Despite what has been going on in the country, Egypt is still considered to be a very safe place to visit, and the current situation in the country is nowhere near severe enough to deter young travelers who are longing to explore the Land of the Pharaohs.
