DJ Graffiti Martin Smith Gave Facebook and Social Media Tips at Ann Arbor Event

On Thursday afternoon, Martin Smith addressed the crowd. He asked them questions, such as the key question, “How many of you are using social media, like Facebook?” Several hands raised.



Martin followed that with asking, “How many of you are making money with Facebook?” Nobody’s hand was raised.

Martin Smith gave some questions to help people select their target market. A couple of the questions surrounded customers and happiness. One question was, “Which customers make you happiest?” Another question was, “Which customers are happiest with you?”



He really caught the audience when he introduced the abbreviation, OPC. He told the crowd that meant Other People’s Customers (OPC). While many people in the audience laughed at that, he explained that other companies might sell something that is different but complements what you sell. In other words, many of the same people who might buy that other product or service might also want what a different business is offering.



Martin Smith showed an example of how he put that advice to help a customer make 50% more profit. He used a few Facebook Ads that targeted certain types of potential buyers.
