(Entertainment-NewsWire.com, October 07, 2012 ) New York, NY – So You Think You Can Dance will delight its New York fans with two shows at the Beacon Theatre scheduled on November 13 and 14. The shows, which are both scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM, are part of the series’ season 9 live tour, which features its season 9 top 10 finalists and was announced last August. The 30-city live tour will kick off on October 23 in San Diego and will end early December 2012.

The top 10 finalists included in the tour are Audrey, Chehon, Cole, Cyrus, Eliana, George, Lindsay, Tiffany, Will, and Witney. To showcase the skills of the top 10 finalists, the tour will feature the show’s most popular routines combined with original pieces created specifically for the tour.
The show So You Think You Can Dance is one of the most watched and most critically acclaimed shows in American television. It is a dance competition show that airs regularly on Fox. It has been on air since July 20, 2005, with its premier episode attracting over 10 million viewers. It has recently concluded its 9th season, and their upcoming fall tour is part of the promotion for the top 10 winners in the concluded season.
As further proof of its success, the show recently bagged six Emmy nominations, including one for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program and another for Outstanding Choreography. Its host Cat Deeley was also nominated as Outstanding Host for A Reality-Competition Program; Deeley has been hosting the show since 2006, replacing Lauren Sanchez, who was the original host when the show started.
