A black-tie event in Malibu will begin the festivities, sources have said, before the formal ceremony Saturday in Los Angeles.
Friends and family will converge on California from Australia and the UK. Celebrity guests include Elton John, Simon Cowell and model Lara Stone.
Candy, a billionaire Briton, proposed to the former star of Neighbors, during last year’s Christmas holidays in the Maldives.
Valance is determined to be trim for the wedding, and it has been reported she has images of gowns to inspire her to stick to her diet.
“She keeps pictures of her dream wedding dress around in case she’s wavering,” a source told The Daily Telegraph. “She hates not being able to enjoy herself at posh restaurants with Nick and she’s treated herself a couple of times but she’s doing really well.”
